The Himalayas - where earth meets sky
Indian Himalayas - Kinnaur

Dakhraini
This festival is celebrated on the first day of the month of Sawan. A meal laced with curd and butter is served. However, there is no sacrifice of animals during this festival. The local deity is brought out of the temple and the people dance before her.
