The Himalayas - where earth meets sky
Indian Himalayas - Kinnaur

Suskar
Suskar or Phagul is celebrated every year in the month of Phalgun when the goddess Kali, believed to be residing in the high mountains, is worshipped. This festival may continue for a fortnight.

Each day of Suskar has a different name and there are several special functions held on those days. A community feast is held on the last day of this festival, before which the goddess Kali is worshipped on the roof of the house.
