The Caprivi Game Park is located in northeastern Namibia, between the borders of Angola and Botswana. Open throughout the year, the park covers an area of 600,000 hectares, dominated by broad-leafed woodland. Visitors generally stay at a camp on the east bank of the Okavango River. Wildlife observed at the park includes the buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard, hippo, and roan and other antelopes. Precautions need to be taken against malaria.
