GeoGebra in Mathematics Teaching
Invariant Properties of Plane Figures

Use GeoGebra to:
- Construct any polygon P of side n (
)
- Use the Midpoint tool in GeoGebra to locate the midpoints of all the sides of the polygon P
- Join the midpoints to construct polygon P'
- Manipulate the objects and record your observations

- What did you observe in the previous activity?
- What is the mathematical justification for your observations?
- Other than the Midpoint tool, how else would you construct polygon P'?
