Accommodation facilities consist of thatched chalets, luxury lodges, bush camps and camping sites. This reserve also offers game viewing drives on about 35 kilometers of gravel roads, wilderness trails, picnic sites, a swimming pool, a restaurant, a curio shop and a conference center. It is home to animals such as the leopard, cheetah, spotted and brown hyena, black-backed jackal, reedbuck, nyala, eland, white and black rhino, giraffe, zebra, kudu, waterbuck, blue wildebeest, and about 400 bird species. This reserve is open throughout the year. One should take precautions against malaria. © Copyright 1998, ThinkQuest team 16645 All rights reserved. http://library.advanced.org |
