Located 80 km west of the capital Yamoussoukro, this park is the most accessible national park in Côte d'Ivoire. It covers 10,100 square kilometers of savanna and dense forest, including mahogany trees. Visitors can observe the baboon, elephant, chimpanzee, hippo, buffalo, waterbuck, and hartebeest. The park is open to visitors throughout the year. Walking safaris can be organized. Visitors can camp at the entrance, but must carry their own supplies. They can get to the park using a bus or bush taxi from the capital to Goarza. The park entrance lies beyond a 5 km stretch of dirt road from Goarza.
