Internet to word processor integration

 

Level of difficulty: Basic

As an educator you will compile documents for your learners. You should always type the notes in your own words using Microsoft Word. You may want to quote a passage of text from the Internet. You may also want to include a picture from the Internet. In both cases you should cite the sources of your information.

Note: It is not acceptable practice to simply copy and paste a whole page from the Internet or any other source. This is plagiarism.

1 Find information on the Internet: Connect to the Internet and look for information that you will find useful for your teaching purposes. If you do not know how to do this, first complete the activity on searching the Internet How to search for information on the Internet

3 Copy and paste information: Copy a small excerpt of text from the Internet to the word processor How to copy and paste between applications
