MS Word 2002 - Copy and paste to or from Word


Copy and Paste is used when you want to make a copy objects like text. You can make a copy to another place in the same document, to another document, and even to another application (e.g. from Internet Explorer to a word processor). The procedure is the same for all.

This example looks at how to copy from a web page in Internet Explorer to Microsoft Word

1. Select the text/image you want to copy from the web page.


2. Click on Edit | Copy or click on the copy icon in the toolbar

3. Open the Word document by clicking on it in the status bar at the bottom of the screen.

4. Click at the position in the word processor page where you want to place this information

5. Click on Edit | Paste or click on the paste icon in the toolbar
