Political Differences Among the Governors
Since the American group left Cuba, many different governments have come into power.  Most of the early ones were similar, and almost all were corrupt.  Democracy has been tolerated by some  Cuban governments, while others have stomped it out.

The Welfare of the Cuban People
As political change came to Cuba, the wellbeing of the people changed.  For many years, it was mainly foreign businesses that prospered.  After the Revolution, some things improved for the Cuban people.  The future will also bring change to Cuba, whether for better or worse.

Who the US Has Supported
The United States has supported almost all of the Cuban leaders.  Few were unwilling to take money from American companies and give what help to US business they could.
