Debangsu Sengupta
debangsu@usa.net
Debangsu is a 17 year old student from India. For over a year now, he has been residing in Abidjan, Cote D'Ivoire, West Africa. In fall 1998, he started his final year (12th grade) of high school at the International Community School of Abidjan. He speaks four languages, and trying desperately hard to pick up a fifth one - French, which is the official language of Cote D'Ivoire. After high school, he plans to study Computer Science at a university in the US or Canada. When he's not working/playing with computers, he likes to spend his time listening to music, playing sports like cricket, table tennis and badminton, watching bits and pieces of movies, sleeping or generally being weird. He was the team leader for this project.
Simon Wisselink
wisskid@euronet.nl
Simon is a 18 year old from the Netherlands. He finished his high school this spring and has moved to Groningen (Netherlands) this summer. His first college at university took place at the very last day before the ThinkQuest 98 deadline. Simon came in touch with the internet 3 years ago and has eversince been interested in the technical aspects of building and designing websites. The existence of the internet may well have influenced his choice for the type of study he is currently following: after Simon completes his study, he will hopefully be an expert on the field of information gathering and sharing accross networks of people and organisations!
Simon enjoys listening and making music, watching T.V. and playing volleyball. Also, the nightlife of Groningen takes up an impressive part of his sleep.
