ICT Skills for Teachers
Create a movie (Intermediate level)
As a teacher you may give your learners a classroom project about a relevant local issue. After finding and processing information, and reaching their own conclusions, you may require them (or give them the option) to create a movie or a photo story. The learners will use Windows Live Movie Maker to do this task.
Note: You may require earphones and microphone for this scenario.
Create your own movie - one which you will find useful. Follow this example. To do so you would typically work through the following steps:
- Start Windows Live Movie Maker
- Create a movie
- Add transitions to a movie
- Change the photo visual effects
- Add narration to a movie
- Add a soundtrack to a movie
- Add titles, captions and credits to a movie
