Wildflowers of the Western Cape

Ours is the richest floral kingdom in the world.

More than 30 flowering plants and some trees have been photographed by the girls and their parents. We hope you will enjoy these pages which have been put together by girls from Grade 3 to 7 at Micklefield as part of an International Wildflowers of the World Project.

The dominant vegetation here in the South Western Cape is the unique fynbos.
