High School

The next stop is the Che Guevara High School.  This school, located in a rural area, is a boarding school for kids who have chosen to finish high school.  The students come here for six days a week and receive Sunday off.  Students at this school study three subjects at a time.

They have advanced math and science courses as well as classes like history and geography.  The student to teacher ratio is about 11 to 1.  Most students also learn some English.  Everyone here wears a uniform, except when they don't have classes and are studying for their tests.  The year concludes with final examinations.
