Writing a Bulletin

As an educator it is important to keep parents informed of events taking place in the classroom. You could use Microsoft Word to create such short bulletins. The basic bulletin design remains the same - you simply change the message every time you create a new bulletin.

3 Save the bulletin: Remember to save the bulletin regularly as you work on it. How to save a file

5 Insert pictures: The easiest way to include a relevant picture is by using clip art, but you could explore using other pictures, for example, from the Internet. How to use Clip Art
6 Copy and paste: If the information covers less than half a page you can copy it and paste a copy on the lower half of the page. This will reduce printing costs. How to copy and paste
