Old Havana

In the Plaza de Armas you will find many buildings from previous centuries, now national monuments.  This plaza was built in 1519, the first in Havana.  You will also make a stop at the Plaza de la Cathedral.  In 1704, the Jesuits constructed the Cathedral of Havana here.  You can go in, then stop across the street at the museum of colonial art.

Everyone will notice the two forts guarding the entrance to Havana Bay, El Morro and De la Punta.  You will also visit a small book market and an arts and crafts market.
