Our Project

As part of our project we did research and identified the natural resources within the area of Hout Bay.

The natural resources were identified as :
Disa River
Table Mountain / Natural Vegetation
The sea / Harbour area

We then identified the various communities that makes up the residents of Hout Bay and how there living conditions affects our resources. One of our main areas of concern was the contamination of water. We went on a visit to Imizamo Yethu as this area was identified as one of the major contributors of the pollution that affected our natural resources.
