Developing classroom resources for science 2. Searching for science classroom resources |

In this activity you should be guided by the focus areas that you identified in the previous workshop. You will attempt to find interesting new resources to use to develop your learners' understanding of specific topics in science. You will be expected to search the Internet and find different resources that could support you as you develop your own classroom resources. |

Follow these steps to complete these activities. Look for contexts that are meaningful to you in your classroom.

Work in pairs or small groups or teachers with similar interests and focus areas (50 minutes). You will be expected find a few different resources on the Internet that have ideas about the outcomes on which you have chosen to work. You should be prepared to use these resources for several activities during this course, ending in a planned lesson for your learners. So, remember that you are looking for resources that you can adapt and use in your science classroom.

Look at the information on benchmark test for OBE resources now so that you know what kinds of things you are looking for.
Use the resource review document to record useful resources.
