Nortel Networks expanded community centres through the Phumelela Networks initiative, extending support from Kathlehong to communities in Vuwani and Qunu.
The Educator Network (EDN) database was launched to strengthen communication, collaboration, and professional support among educators across South Africa.
More than 150 EDN mentors across the country facilitated discussions and supported teachers from all regions of South Africa through collaborative professional learning networks.
The SCOPE initiative expanded the development of the Educator Network, while the Open Society Institute supported the establishment of the official SchoolNet South Africa constitution.
