Innovative Teacher Awards

2006 Johannesburg event

The Johannesburg event was held at University of Johannesburg and teachers from Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Free State, Northwest and KwaZulu-Natal joined teachers from Gauteng.

The morning was spent discussing the concept of innovation and the teachers developed an innovation self-assessment tool during the workshop (to be published here soon).

Judging took place throughout the day and each entrant was interviewed by the judges. The top ten teachers were named, and six were given the Award and will be invited to a national or African event later in the year (the original April event has been postponed).

A general review of the entries as innovations will be posted on this page shortly.
