Innovative Teacher Awards
2006 Cape Town event
The Cape Town event was held at UCT on 11 March 2006. Teachers from the Western and Eastern Cape were invited after submitting their entry forms.
The morning was spent discussing the concept of innovation and the teachers developed an innovation self-assessment tool during the workshop.
Judging took place throughout the day and each entrant was interviewed by the judges. The top ten teachers were named, and six were given the Award and will be invited to a national or African event later in the year (the original April event has been postponed). |
