Exploring web resources for mathematics
As you find your way around the Internet and the world wide web you will soon realise that there are many educational web pages and web sites offering different products and services. As a practising mathematics teacher it may be of interest to you to organise the sites you will be visiting according to what they can offer. There are many web sites like the ones listed in this activity offering lesson plans for mathematics and other learning areas.
It is very useful to be able to save websites and view them offline, so as to keep phone costs down. If you need help on this, please consult the tip sheet on saving websites.
By the end of this activity you could achieve the following outcomes:
- Create a list of useful online maths learning resources
- Match learning outcomes and assessment standards with resources
