Achievements:

Academically:
Over the years , our school has reached various highs that we can be proud of. The following are but a few memorable ones.

The Biology and Agriculture departments has been steering a Environmental project under the auspices of the Science Education Project ignored to improve the quality of life of the community. Our teachers were also up to the task of negotiating the greening of the environment and with the help of Integrated Land use design, the groundwork for a more beautiful environment has been done.

The schools Mathematics and physical science departments have forged links with the UCT`s SSPP (Secondary Schools Partnership Project) and ever since then our matric results have improved. Some of our grade 8&9 learners have won silver medals from the Young Scientist Expo and they have been nominated to represent the Western Cape in Pretoria. One of the learners demonstrated his writing skills by writing a poem so as to compete in the "Robben Island on the Move Project."

Sport
Our community has a rich sporting culture and in this vain , our school has produced several budding sporting stars. 1999 was a very successful year for our cross-country team and we had 3 students selected to be representative et provincial level. We are also fortunate to have the Provincial G/U -17 team manager as a member of staff.

Both in 1995 and 1996 two learners were selected to represent the Province in the USSASA netball competitions for U/19 and U/16 respectively.

The U/15 and U/19 soccer teams have both represented our region in the USSASA competition. One boy [goalkeeper U/15] was selected to represent the Western Cape in the USSASA games in George.
