There are often clouds on top of Table Mountain. Long ago people have wanted to know why. So they made up a story about a man whose name was Van Hunks who smoked a lot and bravely challenged a man he did not know into having a smoking competition with him. The stranger was the devil. They smoked and smoked for many days, until the devil gave up. That is what the people said the reason was for the clouds on the mountain. We learnt about it in Grade 3. We have been told many I wish I could tell you. You'll have to come to this lovely town to find out about them.
Our town is superb. From the top of Table Mountain there is a wonderful view of great beaches.
