Hope
The Grade 5s and Miss
G (our Drama teacher), have been discussing 'Hope'. At first we made
a thunderstorm with different sounds to describe the way we feel about
crime and jealousy. We decided to take it a bit further by reading
a story called, 'Hope for the Flowers' by Trina Paulus. Then we made
horrible posters representing crime, after that we made bright colourful
stars and covered posters. We made up plays under the theme 'Don't
Give Up Hope' and they all turned out to be very good. Soon we will
be able to light our Hope candle. I think the Grade 5s and Miss G
learnt a lot. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you Miss
G!
