The Americans claim to respect Cuba's neutrality. They have not modified the blockade, and the Soviet Union seems less friendly to Cuba. Back home, many foresee trouble for the Cuban economy. However, your international announcement should serve as strong protection against an invasion; but even it's no guarantee.
