Victoria is the capital of Seychelles. It is located in the island of Mahe, which is the largest and most populated island in the Seychelles. Victoria contains a population of around 71,000 people. Nearly 90% of the population of Seychlles lives in Mahe, and a significant part of them in the capital. There are descendants of French colonists, and Asians from China, India, and Malaya. The economy depends heavily on tourism.
