PowerPoint - Saving the presentation 

The slide show can be saved on disk and shown on another computer if 
  • the other computer has the same or higher version of PowerPoint; 
  • the presentation has been packaged to Pack and Go (File menu, Pack and Go)

 or 

  • the presentation has been Saved as a Web Page and the other computer has a recent version of Internet Explorer or Netscape. (This feature is found in the latest version of PowerPoint 2000.)

On your computer, full details can be found in the Help menu under Save.
