The Grade 3s have been asked to decide which trees must be planted in the school garden. Your class must therefore present a proposal (your suggestions with motivations) to the school's Governing Body. They need a database of names of trees that can be planted. Trees that are suitable: to meet the needs of the learners and will grow in our environment.

1. You have 7 lessons to complete the project. Thereafter it will be presented to the Governing Body. | |
2. LESSON 1 | |
Each group will consist of 4 learners. Each group will be given a number. View your instructions. Allocate a role to each group member. View the assessment rubric. | |

Your teacher will move the individual slides of each group at the server into one presentation before the next lesson. | |
3. LESSON 7 | |
As a group you must now view your presentation that has been put together by the teacher. Tell each other of your findings. Prepare your oral presentation as a group. (Click here for guide lines). Your teacher will help you to print speaker notes. | |
4. LESSON 8 | |
Present your proposal to the Governing Body in the computer lab using a Data Projector. | |
